Meet the FAWB Team

At FAWB (pronounced /fab/), we’re more than just a company — we’re a purpose-driven team on a mission to make a difference.

Our Dual Mission:

  1. Raising Awareness for Lost Child Trust Funds
We’re dedicated to helping students claim their unclaimed Child Trust Funds, ensuring that the money set aside for their future doesn’t go to waste.

  2. Building an Enthusiastic Community of Problem-Solvers
We’re passionate about creating an engaging environment where students and professionals work together to tackle academic challenges. Our team includes:

    • Professors with 15+ years of university experience

    • Industry insiders who bring real-world knowledge

    • Young professionals keeping our content fresh and relevant

Together, we’re creating a space where students can thrive — academically and financially.

Our Board

Ekaterina

Founder and CEO

Since 2010, I have taught finance at leading UK universities such as City University, Queen Mary University, Westminster University, Roehampton University, and briefly at LBS. I also have a PhD in Finance. I have won grants from leading UK institutions such as the British Accounting and Finance Association to improve my students’ financial skills.

Improving financial skills by building on academic research in Financial Wellbeing is my passion. I was very lucky to find a like-minded group of people and students, and together, we are building FAWB. Our strategy is to turn FAWB into a Social Enterprise to benefit the community and generate profit to support a project and bring the best content to our followers.
